Invara, Inc. (“Invara”, “we”, “us”) provides SMS and portal-based summaries of your connected inboxes. This policy explains the categories of data we collect, how we use that data, and the choices available to you.

2. Data we collect
- Account information: Phone number, email address, and authentication tokens used to link your inbox.
- Connected inbox metadata: Message headers (subject, sender, timestamps) and summary snippets generated by our AI pipeline. We do not permanently store full message bodies.
- Usage information: Portal activity, device type, IP address, and settings such as quiet hours or category preferences.
- Support interactions: Conversations with our team and any files you choose to share.
3. How we use your data
- Provide daily SMS and portal summaries, escalations, and reminders.
- Authenticate you via Firebase phone verification and OAuth.
- Improve the product by analyzing anonymized usage trends.
- Secure our services, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Data sharing
- Service providers: We rely on vetted vendors (e.g., Firebase, Google, OpenAI) to deliver core functionality. They act as processors and may only use data as instructed.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our users, employees, or platform.
- No sale of personal data: We do not sell your personal information.
5. Retention & deletion
We retain account metadata for as long as your account remains active. Generated summaries are stored for a limited time so you can revisit them in the portal. You can request deletion of your account or associated data at any time by emailing privacy@invara.ai.
6. Security
Data is transmitted using TLS and encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and monitored. While no service is perfectly secure, we actively work to protect your information.
7. International transfers
If you access Invara from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions where our infrastructure or vendors operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Email privacy@invara.ai and we’ll respond within the required timeframe.
9. Updates
We may update this policy to reflect new features or regulations. When we make material changes, we’ll notify you via SMS, email, or portal banner. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated policy.
